Community-led health and climate justice As a community focused health charity P4W is always on the lookout for new ways to shape the work we do. It is really interesting to discover a recent report from the Community Health Exchange (CHEX) (an organisation we are members of) outlining the connections between community-led health projects, community development and climate activism. We are all rightly concerned about climate issues and the report draws connections between climate change and the impact it is having/will have on community health - including here in Scotland. Download a copy of the report by clicking here and see what you think? The report reminds us that the social model of health recognises that our wellbeing results from a range of factors including work, housing, education and leisure among others. Climate change can be seen as having an impact on all of these things and in turn our health and wellbeing too.
