Salary: £26k -28k
Hours: 28hrs per week (over 4 days)

Partnerships for Wellbeing (PFW) is seeking an inspiring and proactive Charity Manager to lead our award-winning organisation into its next phase of development.
Established in Inverness in 2004, PFW has spent more than 20 years helping people stay active, connected, and independent. We deliver a range of highly valued services including:
· Group Health Walks
· Accessible Community Transport
· Friendship Groups
· Volunteering Opportunities
· The annual Inverness Festival of Walking & Wheeling
Working alongside local communities, volunteers, statutory partners, and funders, we are committed to reducing isolation, improving wellbeing, and creating healthier, more connected communities across Inverness and the surrounding area.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Chair of our Board of Trustees, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across the organisation. You will oversee service delivery, staff management, fundraising, governance, financial sustainability, partnership development, and future growth.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on leadership in a dynamic and community-focused environment.
Key responsibilities include:
· Leading and supporting a small, dedicated team
· Developing and maintaining partnerships with stakeholders, funders, and community organisations
· Securing funding through grant applications, trusts, foundations, and public-sector opportunities
· Managing budgets and supporting organisational sustainability
· Ensuring compliance with charity, company, employment, and health & safety regulations
· Supporting innovation and service development to meet changing community needs
· Promoting the charity’s work through community engagement, events, digital communications, and networking
· Working closely with the Board to shape the future direction of the organisation
About You
We are looking for a motivated and collaborative leader who can build relationships, inspire teams, and deliver positive outcomes for communities.
You will have:
· Experience in a leadership or management role within the charity, community, public, or social enterprise sector
· Proven success in fundraising and grant application writing
· Strong financial management and budgeting skills
· Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
· Experience of managing staff and supporting team development
· Knowledge of governance and compliance within the voluntary sector
· Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
· Good digital and IT skills
· A commitment to community wellbeing, inclusion, and partnership working

We’re based in modern ground floor and accessible offices on the Cradlehall Business Park in Inverness, we’re connected to Inverness Campus via the active travel path for walkers and cyclists. There is adjacent parking and a lockable bike shed. You’ll have access to our folding electric bikes and there’s a cycle to work scheme.
There is an annual pay review and a Christmas bonus scheme.
